What are the steps for getting braces on??

Hello everyone! I'm getting braces on July 3. Spacers on June 28. Please tell me the step or how they put the braces on. i want braces. but i dont want the strain. please help me so i dont get hold of so scard. thank!

Answer:
***spacers dont hurt watsoever

***pink and light blue are cute colors

***NEVER receive white or clear bands impose white looks like food is stuck surrounded by ur braces and clear like it u devour ketchup or a lollipop or somethin, they stain

***they put the bands, and later every time u go rear legs u get to choose alien colors

k
i have gotton em on over 6 times (dont ask!)

it doesnt hurt dont worry-it is a short time ago a long process and it tastes kinda fruitless

they give u a decoration on ur molars fiist, to see ur size and stuff

first theu put this positioner thing is ur mouth, it make your mouth stretch a lkot so they can see ur teeth, it will bother u for a minute or 2 but u will get used to it, u maintain that thing on the WHOLE time

next there are these things that look approaching shots and stuff, i got really freaked out when i first saw them but in reality, they dont go within ur mouth! this is the cement that they put on ur braces then they stick the braces on ur teeth
**the cement kinda taste bad!

afterwards they will put the rubber bands on ur braces beside things that look like sisscors (they dont hurt) after that they put the wire-this is the most anoying part of a set cause after they slip it contained by ur mouth, they have to cut it to create it fit right

then to be precise it!Ur done
but after u do it, ask ur doctor for dental wax, and rubber cover up

when u get home use ACT mouthwash and for the first hour, ur teeth may be rather numb so drink mainly fluids-clear fluids

next for the first day or 2 ur teeth may be a short time sensitive so stick with drinking soup, pasta, and soft foods-avoid straws

every night use Peroxyl mouthwash for similar to a week to keep ur gums storng from cuts and use dental wax and rubber coverups so u wont win blisters, they hurt a little but arent that bleak. avoid sleeping on ur side, try to keep ur person in charge straight up for a couple of days

every morning and every night use the Peroxyl mouthwash again for 2 weeks consequently after that just use ACT mouthwash to preserve ur teeth and gum s healthy. grasp some Super floss, made for braces-i sugest elictrical toothbrushes they keep ur mouth cleaner

dont worry-trust me- i own had my braces on for almost 4 years, i am gettin em rotten on July 3-my friend says it acutally hurts more to achieve em off so yea
It's really not that impossible. They just progress in and bonding agent everything on. The bands around your put money on molars, then the little metal pieces on respectively teeth to band the flex to...

It's hard to explain, but not a bleak process to endure I promise.

This should relief.
The spacers don't hurt AT ALL and it takes around 10 minutes, not even to get them put contained by. They're look like staples and a moment ago make space for the band they put on your back teeth.

I found it to be a bit painful and really discomfited when they were putting on the band because they have to try on a million sizes since finding the right size, and it does hurt a little to hold them pulled on and off.

The rest is cake- a short time ago gluing on the little metal brackets. Not bleeding AT ALL.

Hopefully, your orthodontist won't have to report your teeth. I had to hold my 4 front teeth filed, which is when he take literally a nail database for your teeth and files inbetween extremely close teeth to make a bit space. It hurts bad, and I propose really, really bad.
I have them years ago. Painwise, its not bad approaching getting tooth filled.but I would embezzle couple of tylenol 1/2 hr before your appt time a short time ago so you'll be comfortable..after getting braces on, your teeth will be tender for couple of days. This procedure takes going on for couple of hours.so after appt, take another 2 tylenol. Then you should be okay.

correct luck!
Hey
Depending on how old you are the discomfort is marginal. I had them put on at 11 and later again at 23. Let me tell you, have them as an adult is not so much fun.
Anyway, the spacers or similar to thick, small rubbr band they put btw. your molars so that when they put the brackets around your molars there is space.
The daytime you get the braces, you enjoy probably taken some pill that makes your mouth dry out some so that the glue/cement will stick the brace to your tooth. Then they put the braces on, use some kindly of ultraviolet light article to cement them, then put the wires within. They will check to make sure zilch is poking you anywhere, go over proper carefulness, what to and not to eat, and transport you on your way next to a bag full of stuff, including flossers that can receive in btw the wires, wax (you put it on spots that may come up latter that are poking you) and s/ other stuff.

It's really not that bad, and totally worth it when you win them off, but in that is some pain, a short time ago take some aleve or sthing and guzzle soft stuff, like soup, yogurt, etc. for a couple of days and you will be fine.

Good luck
while it may be self-conscious for a couple days, there is hugely little pain. for the first few days, stick to ingestion yogurt, mashed potatoes; soft foods
apt luck!!
