Answer:
You can smoke now if you want purely make sure you rinse and preserve your mouth moist, you don't want to get dry socket.
smoke, later rinse.
simple!
No one other than a dentist can relate you---please call the dentist that extracted your teeth and ask them---it may still be awhile because I know you can't use a straw because it could inflict what's called "dry socket" and i.e. really painful, so the sucking on a cigarette may wreak the same.
Your dentist should own giving you a discharge slip which should include smoking. Whatever you do don't start smoking before it is protected. My brother did and got dry sockets which be extremely painful. Smoking and rising is not going to prevent dry sockets. It the sucking motion that cause the dry sockets. That is way they also insist on you not to drink out of a straw.
call / and ask/ dentist
When I get my wisdom teeth out I used to chew tobacco and smoke occasionally. The doctor told me at lowest possible a week to 2 weeks before I should do it again.
You are advise not to smoke until the hole has heal but if you cant hold out long enough you can smoke you might not receive a dry socket but you wold be risking it. keep the nouns clean if the socket starts to become painfull contact your doctor and they can put a sleeping pill dressing in call alvogyl it takes 2 mins and make alot of difference!
i would assume that its safe to do so in a minute. when you had them pulled they should hold sent you home with instructions. i have mine done in the stool one at a time and after a few days they told me i could start using a straw again. but if you are unsure give your dentist a high-speed call and ask
