My dentist say I have need of a Root Canal...but I own no torment. Is he a moment ago 'drilling' for money?!?
My first padding was when I be 33 and apparently was strictly deep though he be confident of not getting into the nerve waterway.
My current dentist has taken X-rays and have attempted a fairly convincing argument for have a RCT done. He has shown me the films and told me something like the gray shaded area self the (alleged) abcess.
To date I have have nothing more than a 'sensation' when I bite down on that tooth and enjoy not had ANY form of headache at all.
He claims if the impudence has died in attendance will be no pain because of that certainty.
He took more X-rays yesterday and tells me it 'looks to be worse than ultimate year.' I looked at the films and the bottom of the tooth was not even detectable! Another X-ray was not much better! Is he "drilling" for money??

Dentists love to discover gold ingots mines..stand up to them and question them. Let them pass you adequate explanation, solid data to support their recommendation, and most of all relate them that you would be getting a second opinion....see how they evade!
Listen to your dentist.
Some dentists DO do that.. "Drill for money".

I would return with a second opinion. Dentists can be sneaky something like what you "need."
Yeah you have need of one. Re-read everything you wrote and see that you're teeth aren't in the greatest shape.
If you're not sure, travel for another opinion.
I have a root canal after my dentist's suggestion, but I also feel no pain - apparently, the effrontery was 100% motionless. I decided to stir ahead with it because I be worried about the bone harmed that an abcess can cause if you disappear it untreated for too long.

my dentist said like peas in a pod thing in the region of 3 months ago and i feel fine. so im a short time ago going to waint untill i feel affliction then i will take one. you should do the same
I enjoy the same problem right presently.
My teeth is a little chipped and my dentist referred me immediatly to an endodontic..
I enjoy no pain and no money right(they want me to earnings 300$ right of the bat).
I guess i will wait.
As for you you should move about to another dentist and try to get a second view.
If you're really in doubt, achieve another opinion. However, within shouldn't be ANY gray shaded area, so my guess is that he's right on the money. If you enjoy a "sensation" when you bite down on the tooth, SOMETHING is amiss; after all, if it be ok, that wouldn't happen, right? Once the process is started, zilch is going to stop it except a root canal; better to get hold of it done NOW while the tooth can still be deadened than later, when corrosion makes it difficult or impossible (trust me, I've be there). You do NOT want a root canal on a tooth that have gotten to the point where anesthetics don't work.

Well the condition that you are describing can surface because the sensation u feel is the pus pushing ur teeth upwards where on earth as when ur teeth touch the lower tooth it creates the sensation. It can be due to trauma to that tooth causing the pulp to die surrounded by its cavity ... In short I cant give u fitting advise considering I havent observed u or ur x-rays. The best suggestion is to consult another dentist. Best of luck
While its completely possible he's just looking for money, one statement you manufacture might give him more credibility. You read out you have a 'sensation' when you bite down on that tooth. If its torment then here is a good unpredictability you might have some problems that require a RCT. An abscess doesn't necessarily hold to hurt like hell adjectives the time. It is possible that it is deep satisfactory and localized enough that you wont touch pain until you put pressure on that tooth.
Look at the tooth, if its discolored compared to the teeth around it later it may be a dead resolve... drink some hot coffeee if the heat of the coffe make your tooth hurt and if you can relieve the pain near a cool drink then its another sign you do hold a dead guts and a RCT is required...Of course the best method is for the dentist to use electronic nerve tester which will notify him one way or the other if the cheek really is dead. If it is seize the RCT, not getting it when you need it could organize to gangrene which would not be pleasant at all.
Thought I might suggest a brand new dentist if his xrays are as shoddy as you describe.
do you mean the xray be cut off and you couldnt see that part of a set of the tooth on the xray at all or you indicate the bottom of your tooth wasnt even visible because it have decayed into nought?? if you have grey areas showing up on your xrays WITH the sensation after your answer is yea something bad is going on surrounded by there but whether or not its unpromising enough for a root strait you probably want to get another dentists 2nd inference on
but you know you always enjoy the option of have the tooth removed instead if it needs a root conduit... and getting a partial put in which is alot cheaper and something that dentists usually NEVER suggest because the root conduit procedure is so much more expensive

i would suggest you listen to him. i haven't had a root conduit, but one of my friends needs one. his dentist told him 2 years ago that he needed it. he told the dentist "i quality fine" his dentist told him that it wouldn't start bothering him for a while, but that doesn't mean that he shouldn't treat it immediately. 2 years later, he is surrounded by severe pain on and sour.. so looks like the dentist be right...

if the brashness is dead you entail a root canal.
to examination this put ice on your tooth for 30seconds , if you get the impression the cold your nerve is alive, except, then it is deceased.
by the way , an abscess looks resembling a black circle at the root tip on an x-ray, and it hurts when you bite down(as does a crack in your tooth)
