Is there anyone out there who child did not get baby teeth?

We found out that our 18m old son dose not have some of his baby teeth . He dose not have any type of syndrom he is just missing the top and bottom front four. If you can help please let me know.

While this is extremely rare, it does happen. Did the dentist do a panoramic x-ray to determine that he doesn't have his teeth?

If not, I'd take him to a pediatric dentist and request one be done.
This is a development issue, did anyone in your or his family develop later. I just read about a teenager in UK that did not loose his baby teeth or were developing normally.
You need to go see a good Pediatrician there could be some underlying reason why these teeth have not developed yet.
This is rare but does happen sometimes it can be genetic or usually due to an illness/fever you had while pregnant w/ him. It could just be a freak thing and the cells didn't do their job. It could mean he will be missing permanent teeth later on. I have seen it before.
