to get the braces on it can take from an hour to 3 hours, then they will tell you all the stuff you can and cant eat, it took me about 2 hours but you cant eat for a couple days only soup and no meat,crackers, even bread hurts to eat
and dont eat ice cream right away it kills
I just got my braces on last week. if you have extremely crooked teeth, it will take about 1-2 &1/2 hours. if you have only slightly crooked teeth, about 1-2 hours.
ahem, from about 15-30 minutes it wont hurt u at all except 4 when u go back home u will feel real pain and u will surely have a headache(i hope i didnt scare u, i also have GREEEN braces, i just put them this year)anyways,u can take panadol pill to relief the pain.
ur teeth will look super duper coool after braces so always have hope just as i do if u dont like ur braces..(I HOPE NOT)

when i got mine on it took about 2 hours and 30 minutes, but something went wrong so it'll probably take 2 hours or so.

if i were you, i'd take some advil or something right after you get them so that you'll have advil in your system when the pain starts to kick in. good luck! :)

For what it is worth, it took 45 minutes to apply my brace (both upper and lower). I'd say you will easily get it done during your lunch hour.
