If the socket is infected, there could certainly be a fever. Presuming this was done by your dentist, let him/her know about the fever, and see what they advise. If they prescribe antibiotics, then be sure to finish ALL of them.
It should only cause fever if there is an infection. See your doctor.
I Doubt its through pulling a tooth out.You probably just got a fever of some kind,could be cold or flu.If your really concerned,get in touch with your g.p.

i had four taken out this past winter and i never had a fever from it. it could be that you had an infection before you went and its just starting to show now. if you're really worried call your family doctor or go to the hospital
Sometimes u may get a little infection after the extraction, it usually just in the socket and does not cause fever but as its a infection it is possible. if the socket becomes painful, then there could be some infections, then see ur dentist for advice.

Take something to reduce your fever. Rinse your mouth with warm water containing salt every so many hours.
