I got my wisdom teeth pulled today. My husband said it looks like there is a white spot on the top right one?

is that a dry socket?? or is white normal where the tooth came out?

Answer:
If you had a dry socket, you'd know it from the pain. It could be a tiny bone chip working its way out or just the bone where the tooth was pulled.
it's just the skin. you would deel a dry socket and it would probably be full of food. too soon if you just got it pulled today.
hi KC,
i have no idea about that, just want to wish you good health and fast healing for your teeth :)
Just don't keep rinsing out the first day. That is when a dry socket will occur because the clot won't form. Most likely it is the tissue. Dry sockets hurt..a lot.
I don't know you need to go see your oral surgeon. It is not dry socket. you will know if you have that. Do not take the advice of people on here... follow the surgical asst. directions that were given to you when you left. If you don't remember call them not us... there are specific things that need to be done...
it may just be some white tissue
