WISDOM teeth?

I'm 15 years old and when I went to the dentist last month, two wisdom teeth has been shown in the x ray. I was told that it will be more than a year later that I should take those out. My teeth are straight, but I have no room for wisdom teeth.

I am terrified going to the dentist, especially the needles. I'm even scared getting injection for numbing it.

how bad does it hurt? I'm planning to take it out before it comes out. please be honest! :)

Answer:
Ok here we go...
i am super scared of the dentist. i cant even be in the waiting room or i'll start shaking. when the dentist is working on me he has to stopp because i shake way too much! I hate it cuz it always hurts no matter what they say.

Well i had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed. I had it easy though i had a great densit referred to me by my boss who druged me up really good. I kept telling him he was amazing and i kept saying wow after he'd take out a took lol...

My wisdom teeth were almost compeltely out though... that might be why i wasnt in uch pain. It actually didt hurt at all.

I was told my face was going to swell and i'd be bruised but i wasnt. i was perfectly fine!

I had horrible times at the dentist and i was sooo scared to get my wisdom teeth removed especially all 4 at once but it was great and i'm glad i did it.

I'm not saying you might have it that easy, but you'll never know until you do it. Then you can be proud of yourslef like i am now. I just did this last summer and i'm 21. I waited a LONG time because i was sooo scared. Who would of known it'd be no problem at al hehe.

GOOD LUCK!
I had mine removed when I was 17... this past winter.
When I got mine removed I had no problems with pain... I liked taking the medicine because it made me sleep better.
I recovered within a week...
The only thing is, I missed solid food so much! I hated liquids after a while.

My mom recovered within a day,

I have had other friends who have been in immense amount of pain. It really depends on your body.

I encourage you to get your wisdom teeth taken out. It is bettter.
It depends if it is impacted or not. if so there is a little more to it. Really the only pain is the little sting from the needle to numb you. The rest of the pain is just fear. Dont freak yourself out everybody has to get them removed just depends on age and growth. NO big deal.
If your teeth are straight before the wisdom tooth comes out, then say goodbye to that because the wisdom teeth will put so much presure on those teeth it will make them crooked. You can be put under which means you go to sleep, which is what i recommend because they are not grown out yet. It is painfull afterwards but your young and will recover quickly! Good Luck!
Why remove them before it's a certainty that they actually need to be removed?

The "no room for wisdom teeth" assertion is common, but in many cases unfounded and simply a way for the dentist to increase his/her income -- is there a brand new Mercedes in the parking lot?
