Mouthwash & Sucralose?

I noticed my mouthwash contains sucralose. Being as sucralose is a sweetener made from sugar, is this a bad thing to be swishing around my mouth?

Answer:
No, it's not. Let me see if I can make this easy to understand...

Sucralose is a by-product of sugar. In the processing, they remove the "bad" part of the sugar that causes bacteria growth and tooth decay. Only the sweetener is left.

However, see if you can find a mouthwash made with xylitol. It is the only sweetener proven to prevent tooth decay.
