What home remedies are best for toothache?
Answer:
my partner has bad toothache at the moment, and he ended up calling NHS direct this morning... the nurse he spoke to recommended that he kept taking the painkillers, but no more than 6 ibuprofen, and 8 paracetamol within the space of 24hrs.
he's also found that a hot water bottle helps, but don't press it too firmly against your face. apparently that can make it hurt even more !
if u want to call NHS direct, their number is :

Just bite on a disprin, believe me it works.
oil of clove
Oil of Cloves has always worked for me.
It's a bit of a nasty taste but it soon passes until you have to reapply it.
You could also try Paracodol - if you can take paracetamol and codeine. I find this very effective but it's only available from the chemist. Your local chemist should have a rota list to tell you which chemist is on Sunday duty in your area as well as their opening times.
Ambasol or bonjela they do help!!
Insult your girl, a following right hook should sort the problem!!
