I use to get them all the time. After following all the other good advice, if the sore is painful, take Tylenol and use a bit of Campho Phenique on a Q-tip and brush it over it. Still takes a few days to heal over but it will be less painful.
Tea leaves. Press them directly on the sore.
salt water dont swallow it though just swish it around in ur mouth make sure its warm
ear wax I know it sounds grose but try it it works and what have you got to loose but the sore
salt water rinse or peroxide (do not swallow it)
Listerine. (Mouth wash)

dont drink orange juice, soda, or eat oranges. it'll make it bigger and it'll hurt a lot worse.

i had a small one starting to develop so I nipped it in the bud by rinsing my mouth with warm salt water, you could also try to apply peroxide on the sore to help it heal.
to ease the pain i put salt directly on the sore. it hurts like a mutha but then after that it goes away. rinse with water to get the salt out. if you wanna rinse with peroxide, use water to dilute it.
The salt and peroxide suggestions are good ones, but my boyfriend had me put baking soda on a bad one I had last month and it worked great. It stung at first like the dickins, lol, and tastes nasty but it healed real quick. Just dabb a little right on the sore and try to let it sit for a min or two, then take some warm water and rince, swishing it around a bit and then spit it out. Worked for me! Hope it helps you too!
