How do you know if you have a cavity?

Answer:
You may know you have a cavity or you may not. You may experience pain from hot, cold, or sweet foods as well. You should get your teeth cleaned every 6 months and while you are there the dentist will check for any cavities.
You don't. You have to see a dentist. Some people can see them or have pain with sweets and know they might have a cavity but for most people the dentist lets you know if he sees one when he checks your teeth every 6 months.
If it is not really bad it may not hurt yet and the Dentist finds it usually during a regular check up.
if u see a solid color of black on one of ur molars
You will expirence pain on the tooth. Go to the dentist they will take an x-ray to see if it's a cavity if it is the do a simple filing (fill the tiny hole in the tooth which is called the cavity). I have had 3 cavitys when I was younger. Don't worry if you have one it's simple. Good luck!
