Jaw hurts when i chew..?
maybe it's my wisdom teeth coming in? should i go to a dentist? i am 19 years old
Answer:
you should definitely go to a dentist. they recommend every 6 mos. if it hurts only when you chew i doubt it's a wisdom tooth problem. one thing could be teeth grinding at night which is very common. it's basically like putting 200lbs of pressure on our teeth and can do long term damage. another issue may be tmj. it when the disks in the joints of your jaw disintegrate. it can be very painful. i know because i have it. if it's tmj, there is no cure for it but some things a dentist can do to make it more comfortable. hopefully it's not the latter. and if it is your wisdom teeth problem easily solved. just be sure to go see someone for the for-mentioned reasons or possible infection or whatever else. plus taking care of your teeth is very important for long term reasons dental wise and for heart conditions. so, go see your dentist every 6 mos and good luck!
sounds like tmj see a dentist
It could be your wisdom teeth coming in or you might be grinding your teeth at night. I would recommend going to the dentist. You should go to a dentist once a year anyways, so it is better to be safe than sorry. If you grind your teeth at night, you could develop problems with your jaw and years down the road, you will grind off some or most of your teeth, which will require major dental work to fix. Trust me, I know. Grinding teeth could also be a symptom of seizure problems at night.
It could be ur wisdom tooth or a decayed tooth. U need a dentist
