Please answer?!?!?!?

How come the back of my teeth hurt if I leave my retainer off for like 15mins? Any ideas on why it hurts??

Answer:
You may not have had your braces, etc, long enough for the teeth to permanently get into place. Therefore, the teeth are still moving around and if you don't wear your retainer all the time like you would with braces, then your teeth are going to move any chance they get due to the amount of stress on them, especially if you had a lot of work and your braces were taken off too soon. Talk to your orthodontist because a good one should know why that would be happening and can help you fix it. Hope that helps! Good luck! =]
i don't know
asking your orthodontist would be your best bet. the metal might be grabbing on to your gums and giving you pain
go see your orthodontist...
Maybe because you are not use to it you should ask your dentist!
