Why is it that we brush our teeth similar to a madman right in the past our dental appointments?

I know alot of people out nearby do this. It's like we surmise all our recklessness, and tarter, and cavities will brush themselves away. At least possible, one hour before our regularly planned appointment. I had an appointment at 8:30 this morning and brushed my teeth for almost 30 mins. Did I accomplish anything?
By the channel, my appointment went fine. Just a cleaning and consult. Fillings and root canal come later. My subsequent appointment is July 23rd.

Answer:
Well, I think it's because culture don't want the dentist to think we never brush. So they muse the extra, thorough, last-minute brushing will get bad tons and tons of plaque and tartar. It's our mode of covering up our embarassment of not brushing as often as we should.

I don't deem it accomplishes anything because plaque harden over time, the only entry it does is get the soft plaque and gunk sour your teeth that is more recent. Brushing have to be consistent to prevent the plaque from hardening. That is why we run to the dentist for cleanings, our toothbrushes alone--no matter how unyielding or long we scrub-- cannot remove the hardened plaque. So they use those lovely metal tools to scrape them stale.. which I hate! But it's for the best :)
No, my majority routine is very thorough. I newly chew some sugarless gum on the way to the dentist to breed sure there's no crud in my teeth.
hahah i do that too. although i hold one of those metal scrapers so i go at it next to those as well. im sure it make somewhat of a difference but if you already have a cavity i anticipate, theres no brushing that away
We're all hypocrites to an extent, lol. Great it go fine, from now on think about you are going to a dentist's appointment every day!
You're so right
Even though i brush every sunshine, if I got a dentist appointment, I clear sure i brush just previously going. I think its so that he can't say aloud to me "urrgh these pearly's look dirty" or "oooh, sweetcorn for lunch dear?"

And the most ironic thing is. My dentist have the smelliest breath ever, breathing over me like a panting dog! errrgh
I brush my teeth everyday. But it is far-reaching to especially brush before you budge to Dentist so that you have a verbs mouth. 30 minutes of brushing accomplishes a super verbs mouth, but I do not know if it is recommended. Remember that tooth paste have cleaning agents and you might be over exposing yourself to these. Ask a dentist.
guilt and wishful thinking.
yes! i do that too and i dont eat anything so that my teeth arent dirty when the dentist checks it. consequently i end up really hungry and waiting within line for the dentist usually take a really long time.
haha i always do that wen i own an appointment i dont know why but i do then after that my mouth will hurt beside the brushing ^.^
