Fused teeth contained by 2yr antiquated?
Has anyone been through this and what are the likelihood that her permanent teeth might be ok, i.e. she will enjoy not have a single big fused tooth instead of 2 separate ones.
Does anyone own any information/experience of this? I would love to here from you.
Answer:
Yes, my son's top front and the one next to it of his grown teeth were fused together into one huge front tooth, which looked unpardonable. To cut a long story short, he had it taken out, and luckily have an extra tooth growing on the other side of the joined one, which a massively clever orthodontist has used a brace to move along so that the spare tooth is presently his other front tooth in the aperture where the fused one be. It has taken three years of braces and is nowhere practical finished yet. But looks fine very soon.
The orthodontist and all the other citizens he consulted had never come across anything close to it before - he be quite familiar among them! He still has to enjoy an operation to stop the muscle trying to move the replacement tooth back to where on earth it came from.
The apposite news is, his kid teeth didn't have this problem, so I would assume that your daughter's teeth will be separate when the grown ones grow.
Good luck! :-)
woah i never heard of that scheduled before!
Sometimes this can be genetic and can start in the undying teeth also. Sometimes it is a freak thing that will not appear again. And, sometimes it is due to an illness (fever) or drug taken while you be pregnant that may have cause disruption in the tooth cell and caused this and would not show up within the permanent teeth. No relating, unless this runs in your relations.
This is a fairly adjectives genetic problem it happens beside incisors . I've been a dental nurse for 20 years and enjoy seen nearly 10 cases. None of them went on to enjoy problems with their full-size teeth. Even if her adult teeth are fused as it's lower teeth it won't be noticable - so don't verbs! Just keep her teeth verbs and I'm sure she will go on to enjoy a healthy exquisite smile!
My daughter is 7 and her 2 front teeth on the top were fused together. It looked similar to a huge permanent tooth contained by the middle of her mouth. we finally had to verbs it just around 3 months ago, because it had two root stems and one side be loose and the other not so much. They told us it was especially unlikely that her permanent teeth would not be fused. Well, we go to the dentist and they took x-ray of her mouth and her new ones will be fused also. Except instead of one tooth and 2 roots its 2 teeth next to one root (looks like un upside down heart). Needless to speak, you wont know about her everlasting teeth until she's old satisfactory to loose the baby ones. I sympathize near you though. At first I was shocked and terrified people would receive fun of her, but in adjectives her years only 2 folks have in fact said something negative to her nearly it. That doesn't stop her from telling everyone she know about it. it's peerless and she should be proud of it. And when it comes time that her permanent teeth are fused, do what I do... see every dentist, orthodontist, periodontist etc. and want what is best for her. Good luck.
