Metal braces are going to cost smaller number, and at 13 they aren't going to stand out as much. If you were 23, consequently I would suggest invisalign.

okay, invisalign singular works for minor movement. my teeth were too out of whack for them. don't be afraid of the orthodontist. likelihood are he is a really nice guy. metal braces are not as bad as they give the impression of being, many folks get them. i don't know nearly cost though.

Im pretty sure metal braces show better results simply because they are undying, the invis~ you need to bring off and on when drinking and all, next cleaning them, this doesnt keep the teeth together.
I have metal braces for about a year and fixed my teeth moral, it didnt hurt to "install" but took a while and they hurt at first when you wear them fora bout a week, also hurt when you get fixes and when they cause it stronger, etc.
invisalign is for minor movement and may not be an option if ur teeth are really messed up, you gotta articulate with them first
