I got my retainer tightened 1 or 2 weeks ago, ever since later, the back of my teeth hold been hurting. Just on one side though. If I head off my retainer off for resembling 10-15 min and put it back within, it hurts. Any ideas on why it hurts? Could it be my retainer? (Hasn't hurt in the past I got this retainer check)

After you get a retainer, you should probably wear it every time. You said if you take it past its sell-by date for 5-10 min.,put the retainer back surrounded by, your back tooth hurts, right?
Well, that can be cause by eating short braces or doing any other activities that use you mouth.
EATING- While your retainers are past its sell-by date, your teeth have a destiny to get put a bet on to their home(their original position). While consumption, the foods can help the teeth procure to their destination. And when you put in the retainer, it spots the problem and tries to fix it by putting pressure on your teeth.
SO, thats your culprit- PRESSURE!!
