Is there a way to make swelling in the cheeks go down fast?

I just got my wisdom teeth out and my cheeks are swolen. I would like the swelling to be gone asap.

Answer:
ice?
Ice is all I can say. Advil too. Aha.
If you can tolerate ice packs, they may help; also be sure to drink plenty of water and clear fluids. Other than that, the only thing that really helps is time.
Usually, the best way to get any swelling to go down from oral surgery is to use ice. With an ice pack place light pressure on whichever side of your face is swollen. Alternate having the ice off and on for approx 15-20 minutes at a time. Depending on how bad your swelling is, you may have to do it for quite a while. Also, taking any kind of NSAID, usually Ibuprofen is best, will help, just not as quickly.
Advil (or Ibuprofen) is an anti-inflammatory. Inflamed skin swells and anti's will take it down reducing the pain that is commonly associated with inflammation. An ice pack is usually not a good idea as sometimes it makes the teeth ache.
I just had my wisdom teeth out two weeks ago. It sucks. You can't really make the swelling go down fast- it'll stick with you for a few days (four for me) and then your jaw will be sore for another few days. I would use some ice now and then if it's really sore. Your stitches might be annoying too until they fall out, which should happen about a week after surgery. I pretty much ate smoothies for breakfast (with a spoon NOT a straw) and ice cream for lunch and dinner for a week.

But, on the bright side, if you can get through that first week you'll be totally fine after that!
ICE AND SOME MORTIN MAYBE
Pot.
