Can an irritation from braces?

Cause you upper lip to be slighty swollen. If so what should be applied or done?

Answer:
yeah, you can try putting the wax on so it won't cause any more twinge. In the mean time to try to treat it, you can get a chalice of warm dampen and pour some salt contained by it. Then you will just rinse your mouth near the water. Don't swallow the dampen!(Unless you want to! lol) this will help the swelling to shift down. It worked for me. Hope it works for you!
yes. i get cancors and crap from them...put the wax stuff they endow with you on it...ask for it if they haven't given it to you....also i get my braces past its sell-by date this wednesday!
This is normal. Your orifice are rubbing against your brackets and causing irritation. Apply the wax that you get to help until your mouth get use to the braces which should be a few days.
