no, the actual taking them of is fine, make sure you dont guzzle anything hard contained by the next week though, otherwise when you receive your retainers they will realy hurt

Nothing that hurts, it's really rather easy (I've have them before). The only impression you get is that your oral cavity are very loose, and wobbling everywhere, and that your teeth are really smooth. But save for that, nothing!
it will NOT hurt when they hold them off, but it will
hurt to drink certain food for a couple days, chomp through
soft foods & enjoy your smile !
No it dosn't hurt at adjectives. They just tug somewhat so that can be uncomfortable. But no twinge.
And you won't be able to stop looking within the mirror or rubbing your tongue across your teeth afterwards.
