Retainer causing sensitivity?

I had my braces off a week ago, and I recieved a retainer, and one of my teeth are feeling a lot more sensitive then usual. Is the cause my retainer? Thanks.

Answer:
It might be causing pressure on one tooth. Go back and have it checked. I just had a root canal because my night guard was pressing on one tooth!
You should go back to the orthodontist and have it checked, it may need to be re-fitted.
It does that. The best thing is to lose it and forget about it.
