If you live in the LA area, there are three dental schools in the vicinity which provides dental care for about half what a regular dentist charges. The three schools are UCLA, USC and Loma Linda.

If you don't have dental insurance, try a discount dental plan. I use a plan that is $11.95 a month and receive up to 80% on all procedures and specialists. Even cosmetic procedures. Oh vision, prescriptions, and chiropractic procedures also. You can go to their site and see if there are providers in your area that accept the dental plan. This will definitely save you money.
