What would cause a tooth to absess over and over again, every few months?
Answer:
Well it means the infection has reached the root of your tooth. What happens is you either have a hairline fracture, gap, or broke tooth that has allowed a cavity to set in. I suggest you get it taken care of or you will lose your tooth. Also overtime these infections can cause heart problems and get into your bloodstream which is really bad- death can also occur to those that have let the infection go to the extreme. It is only gonna cost you more money in the future to fix it if you keep putting it off. You will need to get rid of that infection and then the doctor can try to save your tooth. Root canal and then a crown. Sounds like you are scared of the dentist. They have plenty of dentists now that put you to sleep and do all the work and you will never know.
pl consult a good dentist who has time to check yur problem
Deep cavities do that. If you have been dealing with this for 10 years, it's high time to get it removed. Abscess is a real infection and your blood can carry it through your system. NOT a good thing. After 10 years it could be potentially life threatening. SEE a dentist.
It sounds like it's time to find a new dentist. If you truly have an abcess and he did not treat it that can be considered malpractice. An abcessed tooth is serious business. It means that the nerve to your tooth is infected. Sorry to say that it will probably need a root canal. You need to see a dentist ASAP.
Seems to be a broken tooth. From http://aches.in/brokentooth.html...
deep cavities or maybe you have a wisdom tooth coming in and there is no room for it.or both.
You must have some sort of unseen crack, chip or decay under an old filling where bacteria is leaking into your pulp causing the absess. Absesses are caused by bacteria leaking into the pulp so there must be some sort of opening in your tooth allowing bacteria to enter.
