What's the best toothpaste?

I have tried almost all the major brands and they all seem to pretty much do nothing to keep teeth white.. I am currently using Crest Baking Soda & Peroxide. 2-4 times per day.

What is the best toothpaste you have used?

Answer:
Colgate Total. It continues to fight cavities up to twelve hours after brushing. So if you brush twice a day- that's 24 hrs. of protection against cavities. Hence the name "Total". I've been using it for over three years now and I love it.
Crest
Colgate fresh confidence...I love it
Crest or orbit
I love Colgate Total plus Whitening.
I love, love, Love Aquafresh EXTREME CLEAN whitening.
so us Crest white strips they work use them 2 times and day in the morning and at night keep using the same tooth paste be for and after the strips and in the afternoon and if this dosent work do lazzer treament
I use Crest whitening. It's got all the flouride / cavity-fighting stuff to keep my teeth healthy, plus the whitening seems to work pretty well. However, I do also use Crest Whitestrips about once a year. My dentist says it's the safest over-the-counter whitening product that also works. :)
Any tooth paste that is ADA approved, if it isn't do not use it. Toothpaste really will not whiten teeth a lot. If you try a smokers toothpaste it will help remove stain better than regular toothpaste, but it can be harsh to your teeth so use only a few times a week.(Do not replace ADA approved paste for a smokers paste--just use it in addition to your normal toothpaste). I really recommend talking with your dentist about having your teeth whitened, ask about ZOOM. I am a certified dental assistant and I use ZOOM on patients all the time, it is an amazing product. Normally it lightens teeth between 4-6 shades. I had one patient who's teeth lightened 8 shades. The process takes about an hour & a half and you will also get trays to maintainence at home. However it can be expensive, prices differ depending on where you live. Im in West Virginia and the ZOOM runs about $400, but it is well worth it when you see the results. To keep healthy teeth you need to have cleanings every 6 months and make sure you brush 3 times a day and a least floss once a day.
