I have a front tooth which comes out. only noticable close up. can retainers help or does it have to be braces

Answer:
I had a pretty bad "snaggle tooth" that overlapped and stuck out a bit. They pulled the tooth behind it to make room for the canine to move into the new space and I had a retainer for about a year and a half. Everybody is different, so only the orthodontist will be able to tell you if it can be done that way for you, but mine was done 25 years ago and it's still perfect. I never had to have braces. Good luck. I hope you squeak out of it like I did.
