How do you remove partial dentures?

I know this sounds weird but my aunt can't carry her partial dentures out. any suggestions?

Answer:
If you are talking more or less a partial denture with metal clasps (hooks) that hold it within, you pull the denture out by lifting the clasps on both sides at impossible to tell apart time. You put one finger at the base of respectively clasp and pull up (or down, depending if it's on the upper chin or lower jaw). The denture has a "path" that it is designed to follow when it's put into or removed from the mouth, and it will basically slide out once the clasps are released.

If your aunt dropped her partial the last time she took it out, the metal clasps that hold the denture within could have gotten bent, and she may have need of to see her dentist to have the denture removed and hold the clasps readjusted. If a cavity has developed contained by one of the clasped teeth, the clasp can get hung up contained by a little indentation contained by the tooth and can't be removed without detrimental the tooth.

At any rate, if you can't help your aunt remove her partial, appointment her dentist, and they can arrange for her to come in. It is a 10 minute appointment to remove the denture and adjust the clasps.
If this is a unmarked partial she may need to work near it some or even go stern to the dentist office so they can serve her. There is usually a "combination," such as the clasp on the left, or the one on the right side, slips up "first," later they will lift out. Just hold her relax and have a cup of coffee, the warmness helps to loosen them. Sometimes patients win nervous and it make it even harder for them to remove them. So tell her to relax beside the coffee or something hot to drink and try again, she will get them out eventually but don't stress over it, here is always give support to if needed.
It is easiest to use your fingernail over the clasp and pull down. Usually partials hold a certain style to go surrounded by and come out. one side may want to come out first. If nothing help she will need to see her dentist.
