Don't wear them until the swelling subsides, it shouldn't be long. Also, try a weak saline water rinse 3-4 times a daylight to help next to healing. Any interim shifting the teeth do will not be enough to engineer the retainers not fit, they may be a little tight when they first progress back surrounded by but it isn't worth it to have the affliction so for now go them out!
You should call your doctor.. the one who removed your teeth and ask him. Anyhow doesn't appear that your teeth are going to go rear just because of a week and also you shouldn't wear something that would solitary hurt your mouth that is currently inflamated and sensitive. Hope you acquire better!
Not wearing them for a few days is ok.Over the long term may affect the movement of your teeth.(like a month). I get some teeth pulled and didn't wear my retainer for a week and there wasn't a problem. If it still hurts for anoth 1 or 2 days it's probably fine not wearing the retainer. IF your not sure nearly it you could ask your dental doctor.
omg i went through one and the same thing!! but i get an infection post op..haha. that was awfully pleasant. so, ur afraid ur teeth will go backbone to how they were huh?? dont be afraid. nought will happen. if it doesnt hurt that fruitless adn if they dont go over your gums, everything should be fine and you should wear them. if it hurts to put ur retainers on for even for a time while, i wouldnt risk putting them in while adjectives the tissues in your mouth are trying to alleviate. i put my retainers on the night after i get my wisdom teeth taken out. it didnt hurt at adjectives. you can try it one night but if it hurts really bleak, just forget it and start wearing them after you start recuperative. they might fit a little tighter but its better than the alternative :D hope this help.
Your orthodontist or dentist should be able to adjust the retainer during an organization visit.
I would suggest that you can keep on until your post op check to address this issue. Once you have changed the mouth within any way you must re adjust the appliance.
Sometimes the prudence teeth extractions are tilted that means longer beneficial time. the teeth should not be mobile thus the time you need to make well will not effect the teeth position, one week to ten days then asap dance get the appliance in tune
