Can you bring treated for a dental abcess at A&E?
Answer:
check in your nouns there is usually an emergency dental service. i know at hand is in our nouns. all the hospital will do is prescribe anti-biotics which is probably what you would find if you saw your own gp.
if they have an emergency dentist yes but you still enjoy to pay in the past they will treat you
dunno - all you involve to do is just puncture the abcess beside a sharp point and watch the puss oooooze out!!
Sadly not despite the certainty that you are in dreadful agony. Have you tried contacting your GP surgery? They'll have an out-of-hours emergency contact number, ring the number and explain more or less your pain and ask if it is possible to own some pain nouns to help you.
If you do not own a dentist contact NHS Direct and ask for dentists in your nouns accepting new patients next tomorrow ring round pleading for a mercy appointment.
If you can get no merriment from your out-of-hours GP go to a pharmacist and ask for the strongest spasm relief available lacking prescription - don't be fobbed off near plain old paractemol. Good luck and I hope you are sorted out soon
THEY DO HAVE DENTAL FACILITIES BUT WILL WONDER WHY YOU DO NOT HAVE A DENTIST - WORTH A TRY THOUGH
Probably not as most hospitals do not own emergency dentist. In an emergency you need to contact NHS Direct ( contained by the UK 0845 4647 see http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/index.aspx... ) They will after asking about your symptoms etc ,direct to to the nearest emergency dental service contained by your area .
you really stipulation to go to your dentist who will prescribe antibiotics to cut back on the abscess before he/she can treat the problem. A/E depts don't usually enjoy the facilities for dental problems. Even profusely of G.P.s won't treat/prescribe for dental problems.
