Root Canal?

Hello everyone, I just have a root canal done by a specialist more or less 4 days ago. It was done on my front tooth. This be the 2nd time on it because my specialist said the dentist didn't clean the top sector of my tooth. So the specialist cleaned out or whatever it be to the top part of my tooth and he said that the infection would be in motion away just approaching a splinter in your skin. Well when I thump it or touch it it still hurts? Does anyone know how long it would take to treat?? There is also still that bubble on top of my gum. Ahh I'm characteristics of scared because this procedure cost me 700$.. and what if it doesn't work =(.

Answer:
it usually take upto 2 weeks for healing of the nouns where r.c.t. be done. It is normal for the tooth to hurt / be sore / be swollen after r.c.t. some times upto 14 days.

the bubble that u mentioned, if it be from the previous infection that you had, it will budge away in 2 weeks. Make sure you embezzle your antibiotics.

You are lucky it just cost you 700 $, because rehash - r.c.t./apicoectomy done by specialist usually run around $1200-1400.
the specialist must tell you to rob antibiotics, maybe he should do a treatment that is to say called apicectomy, it is difficult to communicate you the problem we must see it clinically
Sounds like he did what is call an "apicoectomy", or snipping off of the root of the tooth where on earth the infection started. If the bubble doesn't go away surrounded by a few days get him to prescribe a round of antibiotics. The tooth may enjoy a brief period (1-2 weeks) of discomfort but it should achieve a little better respectively day. Sounds close to it will be opkay, you are just experiencing a usual reaction to a traumatic procedure. Good luck to you.
Wow, $700 for an apicoectomy?? That's awesome, they are usually approaching $1400. Anyway, it is normal to experience sensitivity and soreness after this procedure, administer it another week and a half and the bubble and backache should be healed. If it isn't bid the dentist ASAP!
