I LOST my retainer!!?

Ok, I know that when you get your braces sour, your othodontist says "Now don't lose your retainer"
Well of late my luck, I lost it.
But I havent been wearing it for possibly 2 months or 3 months, and i havent told my mom. I am just to terrified to tell her because i know for a certainty that she will kill me. because getting a different retainer costs a fortune.
But i can look through my room, and maybe try using a metal detector to aid find it??
I just call for some helpful proposal and some encouraging words.

Thank you all.

Answer:
I be in equal position as you and the same teeth problem. The solitary thing I can make clear to you is tell your parents. Sure, they are going to be silly but I mean the longer you dawdle to tell them the angrier they are going to bring back. The first time I lost my retainer, I took them out to eat. I be trying to find them because well my mom be on my back unfolding me to put them on because I haven't worn them in a while. It be bad luck because, I lost them. I haven't told my mom within a couple of days. I wanted to speak about her when she was within a good mood. Of course she get mad but told me not to lose them again and to maintain them in my luggage. If I did, she is not going to get anymore because she feel as though she was wasting money.

So honestly, share your parents. Maybe they will help you find them or detain the on a good morning and tell them.
As a Mom myself I can put in the picture you she will be more upset if you don't tell her! Anyhow, you probably took it out to chomp through something so check any napkins that were thrown out beside dinner, and also I hope you don't have a dog cuz they are prearranged to eat them! It won't be the wrap up of the world, but good luck and perchance you'll find it!
some orthodontists give you resembling a get out of incarcerate free card and give you one free retainer...but any way, if your teeth are moving consequently you would need a different one anyway, not like peas in a pod one becuase it wouldn't fit right anymore
I lost my retainer too, got a alien one, and lost that one. I still don't wear one. I wish I did, for sure. My teeh are still straight, but they don't flash up when I put them together. And I now enjoy TMJ, which you can look up. It's is not fun and painful as hell sometimes. Your orthodontist keep molds of your newly straightened teeth for up to 2 years and they can re-make you one from THOSE molds, so that when you wear it, you teeth will dance back within place. The window is give or take a few 4-5 months I believe, though I went a year, and get a retainer in duplicate shape as the first. It's not comfortable at first, but it's better than the alternative. You mom will be really pissed when she finds out she paid thousands of dollars for no object because you first lost the retainer, and then didn't even enlighten her. Let her know and have them get a new one. Mine cost 100$, which is not a fortune.
relay your mom cause if the period between your teeth start so show then even if you fine your retainer you will not be capable of where it and so you would own to go through the integral braces thing again to procure your teeth back into place...and that would cost more later the retainer.and your mom killing you after you get hold of your braces back on.lol...upright luck..and check your bathroom for them..and napkins and pockets..
oohh..i see, if 2 months u didn't wore those retainers, the teeth should have moved and in the swing of things, it is no use of finding the lost retainers, unless u want the ortho to re-pattern it again, then it'll cost nearly half the price -IF ONLY U FIND THE LOST RETAINERS...if you still, didn't, better put in the picture ur mom soon, or ur teeth shall be returned to the state...before u even wore braces...inform ur dentist/ortho soon, and ur mom, not to get things worse.
tell your mother. it will be somewhat expensive, but if you dont have a retainer your teeth will move out of their propper alignment and consequently all the money spent on the braces will be a dissipate. some ortho plans cover a seccond retainer, or at least mine does. i would survey everywhere and try to remember if you ate lunch somewhere and threw it away, cause if that happend after you are SOL. ask your mom to help you look, i've found that mothers can find almost anything.
