I had a put money on molar removed about 4 days ago and own noticed that the outside of my gum above implicit where it be extracted is still swollen (it was the ultimate molar on the right side up top). The rest of my mouth is ok, but this area is sore and tender. It feel like a abcess almost, or a lump, and I occasionally win pain shooting down my cheek. I'm not sure if this is majority or if I have an infection... Do anyone hold any ideas? I'm merely curious and won't get to the dentist till tomorrow, plus it's somewhat worrying as I can't have antibiotics for it as I'm 31 weeks pregnant. Thanks :D

A dentist once told me that any kind of sucking motion, such as drinking through a straw, smoking, etc. after a tooth extraction can dislodge the blood clot from the extraction site, allowing food particle to enter. Result: Pain and swelling. See your dentist as soon as you can.
sounds like some tooth be left desires to be removed, they need to find an antibiotic you can purloin in your condition wreak its infected
Did you call your ob/gyn and see what they suggest? Many times a dentist will consult beside a patients' ob/gyn for the best course of treatment for them..
If it was a dry socket, you'd know it... it could of late be normal post-op 'uncomfortableness' that will surface better in no time!
