Can you go to sleep with orthodontic wax in your mouth?

my braces are stratching the inside of my lips. i put the wax over them. i was just wondering if i can go to sleep with the wax in my mouth?

yes you can go to sleep with it. The worst that could happen would be swallowing the wax, and even that won't hurt you.
