Tooth Abcess Emergency!!?

My friend has a tooth abcess.he received antibiotics from the emergency room a few weeks ago and the swelling and discomfort went down. But presently its back! he have his perscription refilled, but its not helping. He go back into the emergency room later night and they singular upped his dosage for the medication. Now, this morning, his face is severely swollen!! Its easier said than done for him to speak and he is in abundantly of pain. Its sunday so the dentists office are closed, not to mention that he doesn't have robustness insurance. I don't know what to do to ease his discomfort. Does anyone know of anything that we could do or that would help at most minuscule aid in the swelling and the misery. Obviously he cannot keep going support to the emergency room because they really aren't doing anything for him. Please Help ASAP!!
