I merely get braces , i get this spring looking appliance attached from one bracket to the other, waht is it?
Answer:
It is a freshly a little piece of spring i.e. wrapped around your archwire. It pushes the two teeth it is between apart. It actually is used to create more space between those two teeth. It can be an irritation sometimes but usually isn't. Eventually they may even clutch it off your archwire.
i have those a lot when i have braces (almost 6 yrs of wearing them). I think it be mainly to hold on to space btwn my teeth for the ones that were coming within still or to keep them from crowding together. Not sure if it will affect you like peas in a pod way but i get irritations from them rubbing on the inside of my cheeks. Sorry i couldn't give a more clinical response for what it is.
u propose seperators
I think that you probably own an overbite, if so the spring is in place of rubberbands, only a wild guess
does it look close to this?
