Is there a possiblity of drinking too much cranberry juice?

I have a UTI that I'm trying to get rid of without medication. I've probably drank about two gallons of cranberry juice in a day. Is this ok? I mean, aside from the sugar content. I'm not worried about getting fat off of it. Worried about yakin' lol Thanks

I'd be more worried about the runs you are going to get. You are just going to have vitamin c overload and that has to come out somewhere. I have read though that drinking more then the daily recommended allowance of liquids can be harmful, it can even cause brain damage. So be careful. You don't need two gallons of cranberry juice in one day, even with an uti. Try mixing that up with some water or sport drinks.
to much is bad for you cosing thining ofve the blood to name but a few things id slow down on it

It is possible to drink to much of anything. On a radio show a lady drank a gallon and a half of water to win concert tickets and she ended up dying from a hemorrhage. I love my C. J., but remember that moderation is the key to most problems.
Cranberry juice is certainly good for a UTI but too much is only going to add to your calories and cause your blood sugar to soar.

I recommend frozen Welch's because there tends to be more nutrition in the frozen. Dilute it down twice as much as what it calls for and drink 8 to 16 ounces a day. Divide your body weight in pounds in half and drink that many ounces of water every day. It should not take more than a couple of days to feel a major difference. If not, get to a doctor.

A good preventative is to consume 4 to 6 ounces of cranberry juice and water in ounces equal to half your body weight in pounds every day.
too much of ANYTHING is a bad idea
Cranberry juice is a diarrhetic, so it will probably make you sick.
too mutch of anything is not good. The fact that you have asked the queation indicates that you are awair of this. I think 2 gallons is way too much
