I've be researching herb at university and I call for to know whether the herb 'kratom' is lawful contained by UK & USA?



Answer:
For sure legal within the US, I've never heard of a state or local statute against it. I think it's lawful in the UK too. Kratomforum.com have TONS of info about kratom, there's lots of vendor that promote there as very well so you can shop around and see reviews for different vendors. Be watchful though, it is addictive, especially some of the extracts they sell.
I don't know just about the UK but it's on a watch register here. It's not actually considered a control substance here but probably will be soon.
