Is raw wheatgrass as beneficial as wheatgrass juice?

Is wheatgrass eaten raw as beneficial to the body as it taken juiced? I ask because I don't have a wheatgrass juicer, but would like to blend raw wheatgrass into my smoothies.

Can this be done?

How much wheatgrass should I blend to make the equivilant of 2-4 oz. of wheatgrass juice?

Hi Michael, in its natural state a wheatgrass can be very hard on the digestive system, so juice is actually better for your use.

Wheatgrass is more beneficial than wheatgrass juice because it is not at all diluted as for the amount you need to blend i don't at all.
i really would suggest getting a juicer. you can extract the juice from all type of veggies and fruits. um but you should know wheat grass is really bitter but hey its good for you.
It will bind up your blender, but go for it.

The juice is actually better because the pre-mastication removes and concentrates nutrients that your digestive system is not designed to efficiently extract from grasses.
