My 8-year-old have a unthinking w/o any other symptoms?

t started on her arms as small red dots which have grown larger and merged into colossal blotches. It spread to her lower legs and then slowly moved inward to her torso spreading as small red dots which grew larger into blotches. There is slight itching and when scratched feel like a minor sunburn.

The over-hasty does not go above her shoulders, surrounded by fact, here is a very defined 'line' which it doesn't stir past on her arms and torso. It have started clearing up on the top of her forearm and shins only to worsen surrounded by other areas toward the torso.

She has NOT be sick for months. She has NO hallucination, runny nose, cough, or any other symptoms EXCEPT her tongue is slightly white w/ red dots (like a strawberry). She have not had any bright foods, medicines, or be exposed to new detergents, etc. At first I thought it be allergies, BUT now her 5-year elderly sister has it too.

I've given Benedryl, which give no help. Aveeno baths relieve the itch. And homeopathic Belladonna. There is lone minimal discomfort.

Answers:    Get her to the doctor and tested for strep. My friend had strep throat, but the with the sole purpose symptom she had be a rash, no sore throat or restlessness or anything. The throat thing you are describing sounds approaching that too. This needs to be treated right away.

It could merely be a virus that will clear up in a few days, but near are other things that could need medical attention.

You said she hasn't be exposed to anything "new" but you might want to look into if there is anything surrounded by her school explicitly causing this?

Also, near is the possibility of coxsackievirus...usually she would have have more symptoms then she have shown, but sometimes this virus doesn't always show it's symptoms. The funny looking tongue make me think it might be that.

You own to be careful near any rash though, because they can be signs of more serious condition. If it doesn't clear up in a light of day or two I would take her to see a doctor ASAP.
Did she ever own a small rash bringing up the rear her ears when she was a toddler? Did you have more trouble next to her having diaper unwary than other people did?Does the skin sometimes acquire real dry, crack and bleed a bit? Does it sometimes seem to be to drive her crazy with itching?
There is a inheirted determatology counterattack called Excema which have several different ways of showing up and begins untimely in time. It becomes a bit worse during the Teen years afterwards quiets down again and show up again as the Senior moments come on.
Its a type of allergic reaction. And can also be stimulated by stress. Benedryl doesn't work that okay for Excema. The aveeno does help (cordisone) but I don't know if near is Cordisone for kids.

Get her to a dermatologist that works with kids. There are so lots things that he can do to help.
