Has anyone ever taken acidolphis? My dr. recomended it for my babys diarrea.?
Answer:
Acidophilis are the friendly bactieria that live in the intestinal tract. They preserve the balance. If your child have antibiotics recently and is have an issue, the acidophilis will help restore that set off. Antibiotics do nto know the difference between the good bugs and bleak bugs in the intestine, so they move about after them all, and that can mete out Diarreah. It is like consumption 20 cans of yogurt but minus the yogurt. I bet it works fine. If your child is on an anti biotic, give them the acidophilis between antibiotic doses. Stagger them. Good luck!
yes. acidophilus is live cultures - dutiful bacteria. you'll find it surrounded by yogurt.
Smart Dr..enzyes are good also
You hold a good doctor! I thieve acidophilus myself and both of my kids take it. Not just is it good for diarrhea, but it worked wonders on my babys bitter reflux. Just make sure you receive a good brand- I use a powdered type made for babys that I put on my finger and she sucks bad. There are also a brand of pills made for older kids that are cherry or ginger flavored. My daughter loves that they are pink. I would find a local whole foods or nutrition store.
It's great that your doctor recomended acidopholis for your tot. It will help near diarrhea but also helps beside normal digestive function. You should steal it, too. Some good, non-supplimental ways to work it into your diet are kiefer and yoghurt (the liberal you get out of a in one piece foods store) and non-homongonized milk.
Hello,
Babies get their first dose of beneficial germs from the mother's birth canal/vaginal tract.
Acidophilus is a term commonly use for the "good" or beneficial microbes in our G.I. tracts and vaginal tracts. We, as adults, house over 600 strains of acidophilus. Some are transient and some are resident germs. Lactobacillus strains reside mostly in the small intestine and vaginal tract. Bifidus resides mostly contained by the colon or lg intestine and vaginal tract.
Babies and small children house mostly bifidus. Bifidus strains are important within bowel function and balance. Diarrhea usually indicates drought of bifidus strains.
I wouldnt give a kid yogurt! I would get a supplemental powder containing mostly bifidus strains and put a dose within the bottle.
Here are two recommendations that I own gotten the best feedback on.
