I enjoy had endometriosis for very well over 20 years and the pain can be devastating at times. My Dr. said that I can take up to 5 ibuprofen (200mg) at a time at 8 hr intervals. I also use a heat pad, but it typically doesn't help that much. I don't recommend that copious pain pills for anyone unless they discuss to their doctor first. I have a hideous disease and this is the solitary way I can cope at times.

The thermacare heated patch that you put on your belly underneath clothes helps me. If my cramps come surrounded by the night I will lift a slightly damp towel and microwave it for 20 second to get it honourable and warm and I put it inside a grocery sack and lay on it. It's an instant heat pad and it last a long time. Warm baths help and it also help if you have some quality person rub your belly for you. I've tried the pamprin and other "PMS" medication and they don't work as well as some fry to the area and rather massage.
If your cramps are greatly severe you may want to talk to your gynecologist to see if here might be something else going on with your body.
Things that aid are no caffeine, lots of water, walking, calcium...but these adjectives must be done on a consistent basis, not freshly when you're crampy...
I used to have severe cramps...departed me immobilized for 4-5 days every month...my grandmother who be a Native Indian, recommended that I take 1 tbsp of ground ginger within half a cup of hot hose...the hottest I could stand to drink...and a slight bit of sugar (about 1/2 tsp) or small amount of honey ... and drink as quickly as I could.
The temperature of the Ginger combination almost immediately begin to warm the cramped nouns and relax the muscles. The cramping normally begin to subside to the point where usually they disappear completely. This concoction may resign from you feeling exceedingly calm tho...plenty so that you may want to sleep. But it always worked for me and although it isn't the greatest taste stuff...it's something that you actually can grasp used to.
Depending on your age...you may want to check with your doctor give or take a few the possibility of Endomitriosis, which can sometimes be the cause of severe cramping during menses.

Then, a few years ago, my husband read going on for increasing your water intake, walking, and taking calcium and magnesium to support elevate the pain of menstrul cramps.
I tired it out, and I SWEAR by it ! Every daylight, I walk for a moment, make sure I drink lots of marine, and I take a calcium/magnesium/zinc tablet every hours of daylight of the month.
I also keep warmness handy for night time troubles...
This will work - but you enjoy to give it a couple of months to see in. Trust me, the lurk is worth it (and if you do not believe it, try it for 6 months - then stop.in a month, you will notice a big difference and spring back on them!)

Yep, I'm a man but my girlfriend has done these to relieve hers.
I enjoy to have Midol. That stuff is awesome. I also use a heatpad. I other try to step up my cardio workout a few days before my interval and sometimes I don't get cramps at adjectives. It doesn't help you this month but conceivably next!

1. A melt bath or a hot-water bottle laid over your lower tummy can give a hand soothe cramps.
2.Cut down on salty foods such as pretzels and chips up to that time your period. Salt make your body retain water, giving you that puffy bloated passion. Eat pleanty of fruits and veggies instead.
3. Exercise! Stay active! Exercise is a great mode to ease ache and pains. A brisk walk, a bike ride, or a few lap in the pool is other good medication!

Pure Lavender works great. But it have to be theraputic not adulterated in any style. It soothes the nerves in the cramp site...polite luck

I have to agree next to Sage: calcium-magnesium-zinc pills: 1 with respectively meal day after day, and 2 with meal on bad days. Also try taking an Omega 3-6-9 supplement and 400 IU Vitamin E each day. Homeopathic Mag Phos taken as directed is also supposed to help. Good luck!
