fem-dophilus by a maker called Jarrow is specifically marketed for women who have problems with yeast overgrowth (as in they get lots of yeast infections). if this is what you are wanting this for...see if you can find it at a local natural food and nutrition store.
again, though...probiotics don't have anything to do with hormone levels.
if you cannot find that specific brand, really any form of a probiotic would help with this sort of problem. try to find one that has been refridgerated (after all, it is a living culture)...but as long as the item has been stored properly (not getting too hot) even shelved products should be fine if that is all that you can find.
remember also, yogurt has probiotics. so you can get your probiotics too by eating a serving or two of yogurt each day. some women even find that UNFLAVORED UNSWEETENED yogurt used externally can relieve the symptoms of a yeast infections.
Any Good Health Food/Vitamin shop will have them.Make sure you get 5 Billion cultures per tab or more and that they are refrigerated.

they don't balance your hormone levels though, they balance your intestinal/digestive flora.
perhaps that specific name brand has some herbals in them for female hormone levels, but probiotics are for the GI tract.
Did you try the Vitamin Shoppe? I don't know if you have those where you live, but call and check. Thats where I get my probiotics in SoCal. Also, you might try Whole Foods Market.
