Chiropractic is very fresh compared to acupuncture. Acupuncture has be around for hundreds of years but people counter differently to treatments. Try both and see what you like better.

I would unequivocally try a chiropractor first, these people do wonders beside bones and muscles.
The only problem is that unless you know a righteous one you might get burned.
If the problem keep trying then try the acupuncture.
There are several school of chiropractic, some are the standard crunch and twist type...and others do more subtle adjustment. You might want to find an "activator" type chiropractor...I've seen righteous results from them.
But really...what is the cause of the shoulder stomach-ache? Do you have predetermined range of motion? Is it from an injury or repetitive motion?
You might be developing "frozen shoulder", which is usually cause by developing "trigger points" in the shoulder muscles. For that...acupuncture works economically...but even better is "trigger point" therapy. You will own to do some googling to find "true" trigger point therapists...because lots of chiropractors claim to do it...but they really don't.
