What is the nickname of the type of nurse that checks insurances and make pay option?

i want to take a medical carrer but i want to to do administrative purposes at a clinic what is the given name of the nurse?

Answer:
That's usually not a nurse, but a billing specialist or medical secretary. Some R.N. s do decide to do regime instead of patient exactness and get remunerated the same though.
thats not a nurse at adjectives. Its a medical billing specialist.
It's called "utilization review" and it's not approaching a nursing specialty or anything. It's just that it's usually nurses who know the medical slang, etc. so they tend to get the job. It can't be a medical assistant or anything like that for most insurance companies but it can be a licensed social worker (but that's not specifically common.) Insurance companies hire lots of nurses for their cessation and then the hospitals hire nurses to review the charts and try to acquire the stays covered medically.
