I am currently takng the Imitrex nasal spray and it leaves a bitter aftertaste surrounded by my mouth?

Does anyone know how to quickly win rid of this horrible aftertaste? I tried gum and drinking a lot of fluids. The just thing that somewhat works is lay down, but sometimes this isn't an option for me
