Has anyone ever hear of a craftmatic adjustable bed? Are they apposite for the elderly and physically disabled?
Answer:
I bought one a few years ago and it was excellent, but, not really suitable for what I needed it for. I own got a better bed via Social Services which does alike sort of thing. If you own a serious disability I would recommend that you contact them before wasting a Grand of your complicated earned money as I did!
They are supposed to be well brought-up as they lift your legs and pay for and vibrate too, but they are stocky and expensive !.
my gran had one contained by her last few years she be 94 and it was great for her as it can tilt your legs and your head she also have a chair which raise up and it helped her go and get up of her chair. really fitting for elderly and physically disabled.
Yes I have.
They are exceedingly expensive.
But very comfortable too!
I expect it would depend what your disability was.
They hold pushbutton type controls at the sides that adjust the top, middle and bottom of the bed in accordance beside whatever you want.
If you acquire the double one , I think again it depends how much you want to spend, cos I judge the more you spend, the more likely fortune of getting one, where respectively side of the bed is adjusted individually.
If you go for the cheaper version, you may own to put up with both sides moving within unison..
So thats so much for the disabled..
Now for the elderly, Well... Unsure on this one but depending on their sense of humour, I expect they could be quite fun. most indeed give them something to stay awake for and hold some playtime with. (Dont forget they fought 2wars to administer us the choice!)
SO. Why not, they deserve a bit of pleasure at their time in duration BLESS 'EM!!
They are great, not had the elderly inference but for my dad with spinal column and leg trouble it really helped getting out of bed, watching tv from bed etc
Just mind if you invite one of their salesmen....errr consultants over as they can be very pushy and start the price much better than you actually requirement to pay if you push them.
Yes, they are excellent for the elderly and physically disabled and are very well worth the extra expense. These beds are the merely ones out there that hold the durability to last and suit the special wishes of elderly and handicapped individuals. My father has owned his bed for 15 years in a minute without any trouble.
