i read the first 30 pages and so far no real solid answers. He repeats himself alot. Worth checking out at the library, then you decide if it is worth buying. i bought it now i wish i would have checked it out at the library first
Just trying to make money. Anything you would want to know from that book requires you to pay for the information from websites and links. He is just another scam artist out to play on people's fears.
If anything works in the book it's worth it. Chances are he's just trying to make money. Aren't we all?
First of all, it is "Natural Cures", by Kevin Trudeau. The way you have the question phrased, either it is "worth buying" or "he is just trying to make money". Are people who write books and expect to make money immoral, dishonest, crooks? It takes money to get a book published.
If you believe everything that your MD tells you, because he is your MD, and if you do not believe that there is a medical conspiracy in this country, so that the drug companies can make huge fortunes and the insurance companies can screw the general public, then this book will never help you.
If you buy the book, it is a lot cheaper than an MD visit, plus inflated prices on medications. So, try it. If you are worried about how much money Mr. Trudeau is making, worry about how much money the drug companies are raking in.
He's just ripping you off. I haven't read the book, and I won't bother, unless I get a free copy. But stories about suppressed inventions are horse manure. Neither the socialist nor the capitalist world work like that. When microchips came along, traditional manufacturers of TVs switched to the new technology. They didn't try to suppress it. Similarly with digital photography; Kodak, Fuji, Pentax and all the rest adopted digital cameras and cashed in. None tried to stop it. Toyota and all the other leading auto firms are into hybrid cars. Real doctors, as distinct from quacks, love new cures. If they really work, that is.
I have some natural home remedies for a lot of ailments. Any one is free to share his/her remedies for free.

Remember, home remedies are old folk remedies which were founded by our ancestors when there were few or no medicines at all. There is nothing secret about them. There are so many remedies that it is difficult to elaborate them here.

Hmmm - mixed feelings on this one.
Whilst it is true that both the book and the website cost money, there is a lot of good information in them (especially the website).
The difference between visiting your doctor (sponsored by pharmaceutical companies) and visiting a natural health site (mostly associated with some "product" company) is that whilst your doctor will only treat the symptoms (which will most likely come back at some point, requiring another visit and another prescription), natural health treats the CAUSE. Once the cause is removed, the symptoms go away by themselves.
That is not to say it happens instantly or without some effort from you, but anything your body is capable of doing to itself, it is also capable of UNdoing.

Well, he's selling a book, so of course he's trying to make money.

However, the book itself does not contain very much useful information and is basically a bunch of rants against the FDA. Many of them are well-founded rants but if you're looking to this book as a source of usable information, you're not likely to find it.
From that standpoint, the book does not provide what it implies and when you make money that way, I think it's wrong.
The FTC agrees and they've swatted him on the nose for it.

I have some elderly friends who bought the book and they began to get a monthly (?) newsletter which talked about lots of different ailments and solutions. And it was thru one of those newsletters I was reading that I learned about something which I think will save my life.
Both of my parents (in their 80's) had clogged arteries, had them mechanically opened (stints) and they're doing great. But I don't exercise, eat lots of fats, and know that my arteries are getting there. But I'm scared of taking the new drugs being advertised, because there's so much involved with negative and harmful side effects. Save your heart while you destroy your liver, stuff like that.
But I read in this newsletter about a natural vitamin called Policosanol, which does EXACTLY what the cholesterol-fighting drugs do, taken in the same dosages and the same time frame, but without ANY side effects. There are 2 kinds of policosanol---made from sugar cane and made from rice. Get ONLY made from sugar cane. The rice has no cholesterol reducing ability what so ever, as shown in double blind tests.
I have been taking it for about half year, and I admit I haven't had my cholesterol tested any time. But I feel better taking a natural vitamin regularly which will help me reduce my cholesterol, as I also cut out most of my fats!!
However, my friends have discontinued the newsletter, because after a while, they began to be badgered to buy other things, to send donations, etc. So while I haven't read the book, and many seem to think it doesn't really say anything, I do know that the newsletters did have some very beneficial info, especially for me. I do not think it was coincidence for me to visit my friend while they were reading that specific paper about the policosanol.
I have done a Research Study on Natural Cures which took over 10 years to know the exact results and has worked better than Allopathy for sure. We never published the book because of financial reasons.

the book is good it tells you about tons of stuff then asks you to join www.naturalcures.com for more information and tons of actual cures. that was the first one i wrote i didnt read the newer ones.
