There is no such thing as Aromatherapy oil. There is Aromatherapy, which is the practice of using essential oils and other fragrant oil to alter mood or health.
Essential oil are just one type of grease used in aromatherapy. The others include, fragrant oil and hyrosols (floral waters).
Aromatherapy has oil of good fragrance freshen ur mind n spirit.
Essential oil has no fitting smell. Just to provide enough vitamins n stuffs to ur skin n bones.
The difference is how heaps monies the spa or penny store can convince you to accept and reward.
I could say that Aroma Therapy is for Brain and Mind because smelling is a sense. And Essential is to craft death,disease and IDS because it is physical.
The aroma one is true, it may smell nice or pleasing to some,some chemicals or aromas can form a person die,or not.
The essential is true, some drugs or poisons can enter the bloodstream via the contact near the skin and make a personage die,
or not.
How much a human is willing or not prepared to use the two is the only difference.
I if truth be told remember Snake Oils, people use to drink that. They get drunk. or died.

Aromatherapy Oils is just a marketing possession. Often enough, sorrowfully enough, these aren't even oil that you should use, because most of them are (very) inpure and should not be used in the purpose of analysis through oils, surrounded by which form whatsoever. The best thing these present is a fragrance so that it smells good contained by your house, just approaching those boxes or blocks you can find in the common store to place on your toilet so that it smells good.
Essential oil are pure oils that are used for psychiatric help through aroma's, either applied near a carrier grease on the skin, evaporated with a aromalamp or inhaled through tallying some drops of pure essential oil to a bowl of hot sea. Even here, inpure forms are available.
But the biggest difference between these 2 will be the price: aromatherapy oils will cost significantly smaller number then essential oil. The process of extracting essential oils is tricky and uses experience, time, precision and specific tools. The cheap stuff isn't even an extraction of stuff from plants or herbs, it's synthetic stuff... which explains the cheap price.

I have used aromatherapy for years, and never used anything but essential oil.
Watch out for fragrance oils. These are remarkably weak diluted oil where they use a few drops of Essential Oil afterwards fill the bottle up beside grapeseed or jojoba oils, and blend.
i regard as this is just semantics. I buy wholesale and clear my own remedies which I sell. I interchange the words as they are mostly indistinguishable to me and to the vendors on the Internet. But if you really want to take really technical next I would say that Aromatherapy is the restorative modality and essential oils are the oil extracted from plants used to make aromatherapy products. surrounded by this context essential does not mean "needed" resembling for example vitamin C is essential(needed) to prevent scurvy.
